Question:
Can TAFE NSW staff and students get Microsoft Office for free?

Microsoft Office 365 is available free to current TAFE NSW staff and students.

It includes Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Outlook email, OneDrive, and Teams.

To sign in you will need to use your TAFE NSW email address, and your username and password.

You can find your TAFE email address by going to your student portal and clicking on your email account.

If you can't log-in to your portal please contact your local student administration office or library.

When you have your TAFE email address, go to http://office.com

  • Click on Sign in
  • Type your TAFE NSW email address into the box
  • Click on next
  • Enter your TAFE NSW username and password
  • Click on log-in

You can then start using Microsoft Office 365 online. To install the programs on your computer please follow the guide below.

Please note: your access to Microsoft Office 365 will expire at the end of your course.

For further assistance please see our Technology for Learning Guide or contact your local TAFE NSW library.
