An annotated bibliography is a list of the sources of information you read or viewed while researching a topic. Each entry in the list is comprised of a reference (the item’s publication details, correctly formatted in the Harvard or APA style), followed by a brief summary and evaluation of the source (called an annotation).
The purpose of the annotation is to inform the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the source cited.
Each annotation should do one or more of the following:
