How can I access the National Construction Code (NCC)?
The National Construction Code (NCC) is freely available, however, each user must create a free personal account and a login for ongoing access to the Code.
You will need an email address to create your account.
- Go to the Australian Building Codes Board (ABCB) website - https://www.abcb.gov.au
- Click on the yellow person icon at top right of screen to Register and create a free account for access. (NOTE: You will need an email address to complete registration.)
- Fill out the Registration Form. Be sure to fill in any line with a red asterisk. Tick to agree to "Terms and Conditions". Record the password you create, for future use.
- Receive an email from the ABCB confirming your registration, and proceed to access the Code. When logged in, you can access the code directly from the website, with full search functionality; or by downloading a PDF copy of any volume, or the full set.
